This presentation displays information about effective teacher-student conferencing to improve elementary students’ independent reading comprehension. highlights Jennifer Serravallo’s Research-Compliment-Teach (RCT) model. One of the most critical components any strategy is goal setting. Goal setting helps provide individualized, meaningful motivation and feedback students as they develop readers.
